Now the story really starts. The Book of Enoch talks about a group of angels called the Watchers. Their name tells you their job. They were supposed to watch. To observe humanity from above. Guardians. Look, don't touch.
But they looked too long. The book says the Watchers saw that human women were beautiful, and they wanted them. And a group of them made a decision that changed everything.
There were two hundred of them. And they knew this was against the rules, so they did something sneaky — they made a pact. They swore an oath together, so that no single angel could chicken out and rat on the rest. They were all in it, together, on purpose.
They came down on the top of a mountain called Mount Hermon. Their leader was named Semjaza. Two hundred angels, one mountain, one forbidden plan. This is the moment heaven's rule got broken.
