1. Acceptance & Eligibility

By creating a parent account, you confirm that (a) you are at least 18 years old, (b) you are the parent or legal guardian of the child or children for whom you create profiles, and (c) you accept these terms on their behalf.

Celestial Kids is intended for use by children ages 3 to 14. You agree to supervise your child's use of the service, particularly for younger children.

2. The Family Plan

The Family Plan is a one-time annual purchase of $600 USD that grants one year of access for up to five children under one parent account. There is no automatic renewal. When the year ends, you may choose to renew at the prevailing price.

Pricing may change for new purchases. Existing users keep the price they paid for their current term.

3. Refund Policy

14-day refund window. If Celestial Kids isn't right for your family, contact us within 14 days of purchase at hello@celestial.university for a full refund. After 14 days, the purchase is non-refundable.

4. Educational Disclaimer

Celestial Kids is a supplemental educational resource, not a substitute for licensed schooling or professional educational services. Homeschooling laws vary by state and country. It is the parent's sole responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable homeschool laws, registration requirements, attendance reporting, and assessment requirements in their jurisdiction.

While the curriculum is designed to meet or exceed standard scope-and-sequence for each grade level, we do not guarantee that completion of the program will satisfy any particular state's homeschool requirements. Parents should consult their local homeschool association or department of education.

5. No Medical, Psychological, or Spiritual Advice

The curriculum includes content about virtues, mindfulness, sacred geometry, numerology, and contemplative practices drawn from many wisdom traditions. None of this content constitutes medical, psychological, religious, or spiritual advice. Esoteric content (numerology, astrology, sacred geometry) is presented as a contemplative tradition for self-reflection — not as fact or as a replacement for professional advice. If your child shows signs of mental, emotional, or physical distress, consult a licensed professional.

6. AI & Automated Content

Some lesson content, voice narration, character text, and assessments are generated or assisted by artificial intelligence and automated systems. We curate, review, and continuously refine this content. Some text may be paraphrased or composed by AI. By using the service you acknowledge this and accept the content as provided.

7. Children's Data & Privacy

We collect minimum data necessary to operate the service: child first name (no last name required), birth date (used only to assign tier and compute pacing), avatar choice, and activity progress. Parents may delete child profiles at any time, after which all activity records are permanently removed within 30 days.

We comply with COPPA, GDPR-K, and applicable child-protection regulations to the best of our ability. We do not sell or share children's data with advertisers, third parties, or data brokers, ever. We do not show advertisements to children.

Activity logs are used only to: (a) show parents progress, (b) recommend the next lesson, and (c) anonymously improve the curriculum. No child data leaves our infrastructure.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) attempt to circumvent the family plan limit (max 5 children per account), (b) share account credentials outside your immediate family, (c) reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute curriculum content, (d) use the service to harm, harass, or violate the rights of others.

9. Intellectual Property

All curriculum content, character designs, software, illustrations, audio, written materials, and brand elements are owned by Celestial University and protected under U.S. and international copyright. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for the personal homeschool education of your registered children.

Children's drawings, recordings, and other artifacts they create within the platform belong to the child / family. We will never publish or repurpose your child's artwork without explicit parental consent.

10. Changes to the Service

Celestial Kids is in active development and currently in beta. We may add, modify, or remove features, content, characters, or tiers as the curriculum evolves. We will not materially reduce the core curriculum during your active subscription term.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Celestial University and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: educational outcomes, regulatory non-compliance, screen-time effects, content accuracy, or service interruptions.

In no event shall total liability exceed the amount you paid in the past 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Celestial University from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from (a) your use of the service, (b) your child's use of the service under your supervision, (c) your violation of these terms, or (d) your violation of homeschool laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Honolulu, Hawaii, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual-property disputes.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these terms (e.g., sharing credentials, attempting to harm other users, fraudulent activity). In such cases, no refund will be issued.

You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. Cancelling stops auto-renewal but does not refund the current term beyond the 14-day window.
